The e-mail protocol is a fixed agreement in which it is decided how e-mail requests should be handled within the e-mail process worldwide.
Within the special world of emails, we use POP or IMAP as a protocol to be able to send and receive an e-mail.
If you use IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) and you set it up on a device of your choice, your e-mail will be saved on our server.
You can set up your email on your computer, tablet and smartphone. Your email messages and folders are all synchronized.
For example, if you have set up your e-mail in Outlook on your laptop, you can also set it up in an e-mail app on your smartphone. You receive and send the same emails via both devices.
The only downside to IMAP is that when you delete an email it is immediately deleted from the server and therefore also on all your other devices.

All e-mail messages are downloaded from our e-mail server to your device so that it is then saved in the profile (account) of the specified e-mail address.
As a result, no e-mail messages will be saved on the e-mail server, but on the device where you have set up the relevant e-mail account.
